My Code of Ethics  is a non-profit movement for the promotion of personal and professional codes of ethics.

Its purpose is to encourage people to view their lives – their families, their work, their hobbies, their profession, their education, their government – as honorable, noble, inspirational...sacred.

And through the creation and adoption of codes of ethics (also known as "oaths," "pledges," "creeds," "declarations," "proclamations," "prayers," "affirmations," etc.), we can daily remind ourselves of – and rededicate ourselves to – the sacred task of living with integrity. more about us

Our collection of codes/oaths/pledges... is the most extensive such collection on the world wide web.  Use it to help you develop your own code or just to see what kinds of codes various persons, associations, companies, schools, governments, and newspapers are using.

Grateful acknowledgement goes out to the Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions (CSEP, Illinois Institute of Technology) for their gracious permission given to My Code of Ethics to link directly to many of the codes of ethics that they've collected.
On this website, you can use our vast library of codes/oaths/pledges and guide to code writing and discussion forums to create your own oath/pledge/code or advocate/design/promote a code for a particular profession, organization, school, or government agency.

Do you, your company or organization My Code of Ethics logohave a code of ethics? Then display our My Code of Ethics banner on your website...and help us spread the word!  Here's how

My Code of Ethics is seeking volunteers for all facets of this project, including moderators of our bulletin boards, project managers, website designers, publicity directors, ethics experts, more.

"CREATIVITY CODE" PROJECT
Each year, our goal is to help launch and develop code projects for various professions. One of our most ambitious ongoing projects is the Creativity Code Project, which attempts to establish a code of honor and integrity for those engaged in any creative pursuit — from writers and producers to entertainers and artists — all of whom need to maintain respect for, and awareness of, the ethical and moral impact of their creative output.

NEW MESSAGE BOARD IS INSTALLED!
Our new message board/forum center was recently installed and replaces our previous system for discussing topics, giving advice about codes, and planning code projects. So please use it now instead of the "Contact Form" for code-related issues.

Use the links on the left-hand side of any webpage to explore the possibilities, and start a new journey of honor, integrity, and humanity.
